Mary Beth Dagley

Graveside services for Mary Beth Dagley, 86, of Palestine, were at 10 a.m. today at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Mathis officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dagley died Sunday at Cartmell Home for Aged.

She was born Dec. 20, 1922, in Waxahachie, Texas to John and Dora Cobble Moore.

Mrs. Dagley had lived in Palestine most of her life and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women organization of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dagley, in 1986; and a daughter, Paula.

Mrs. Dagley is survived by two sons, Gary Dagley and wife Pam of Winona and David Dagley and wife Jill of Palestine; four grandchildren, Paul Dagley of Longview, Robert Dagley of Euless, Jennifer Huddleston and husband Adam of Canyon, and Stephen Dagley and wife Natalie of Frisco; and seven great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul Dagley, Robert Dagley, Stephen Dagley, and Dr. Adam Huddleston.

Memorials may be made to the Lakeview Methodist Conference Center, 400 Private Road 6036, Palestine, Texas 75801.
