— Funeral services for Jennifer Anne Wright, 66, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Deacon Dan Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wright died Friday, June 27, 2008 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 12, 1941, in England to Archibald and Joan M. Dudman Irwin.
Mrs. Wright had lived in Palestine since 1984, where she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved participating in her children’s activities. She also was very active in the community. She was a homemaker.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived b y her husband, James Wright of Palestine; daughter, Tracy Scott and husband Simon of Kingwood; son, Jason Wright of Palestine; brother, Michael Irwin of England; sisters, Nadene Byrne of Chicago, Ill. and Rosemary Ramshaw of England.
A rosary will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at the funeral home. Visitation will follow from 6 to 8 p.m.
