Walter Lohbauer

Memorial services for Walter Lohbauer, 70, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church with Father E.J. Sheffield officiating.

Mr. Lohbauer died Wednesday at the David E. Foster Hospice Unit at Palestine Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 25, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Albert C. and Laurna Kay Quantiance Lohbauer.

Mr. Lohbauer was a salesman and a member of the St. Phillips Episcopal Church.

Mr. Lohbauer was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara Daisy; and brothers, Jim Lohbauer, Dean Lohbauer, and Albert Lohbauer.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Routh Lohbauer; sisters, Mary Lohbauer and Linda Caldwell; brother, Tom Lohbauer and wife Sharon; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Lohbauer, Joan Lohbauer, Routh Jane Nickle, Libby Ruth Smith and husband Griffin, Cathern Watson and husband James, brother-in-law Joe Mack Routh and wife Eiko.
