Leon Miller

Services for Leon Miller, 78, of Elkhart will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Palestine with Dan Bubach officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine.

Mr. Miller died Monday at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.

He was born Oct. 24, 1929 in Amarillo to Leon and Ola Mae Kennedy Miller.

Mr. Miller was an engineer. He was a former Marine and a member of the First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Wanda Wilkes; and a grandson, Joshua Miller.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Miller; one daughter, Karen Sorrell of Bartlet, Tenn.; two sons, Kenneth Miller of Lucas and Richard Miller of Arlington; two sisters, Linda Hume and Patricia Charlesworth; and 12 grandchildren
