Billy Patrick

Graveside services for Billy Patrick, 75, of Slocum, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers Cemetery with the Rev. Scotty Short of Tyler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Patrick died Saturday at Elkhart Oaks Care Center.

He was born January 5, 1933 at Corsicana to Thomas Green and Clara Bentley Patrick.

Mr. Patrick was a Baptist. He had been self-employed and had worked for over 50 years in East Texas oil fields.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Gary Patrick, one brother and three sisters. He is survived by his current wife Joyce Patrick of Slocum, first wife Doris Spence of Palestine; daughter Tracy Dunnahoe and husband Todd of Slocum; sons: John R. Patrick and wife Teri of Houston, Darrell Patrick and wife Mary of Tyler, and William Patrick and wife Katie of Palestine; sisters: Nell Brown and Ruby Thomas both of Corsicana; thirteen grandchildren and two great, grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart to Heart Hospice.
