Kelsi Lyn Seal

Kelsi Lyn Seal went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 11, 2009 at approximately 9:57 p.m. She was born on September 26, 1993 in Palestine, Texas to Nora Seal Newman.

Kelsi is survived by her mother, Nora Seal Newman and stepfather Bobby Dean Newman; father, Jamie Cummings; brother, Jacob A. Seal; sister, Hannah W. Seal; maternal grandmother, Novella Oldham; paternal grandparents, Dean and Candy Newman; maternal great-grandmother, Bettie Hanson; aunts Cathryn Ambrose and Melanie Seal; uncle, Carl Seal; great-aunt and uncle, Wynelle and Alan Dawson; great aunt and uncle, Sandy and George Hanson; cousins, Chesley Mixon, Trey Mixon, Emma Ambrose, Ashton Seal, Tristan Seal, Christian Seal and Austin Seal. Kelsi also is survived by her three aunts, Angelia, Amanda and April; and uncle, Aaron and spouses and including 17 cousins.

Kelsi also is survived by a very large number of friends and relatives and the family would like to thank all who have supported them in this time of great sorrow.

Kelsi attended Palestine High School and was a member of the Palestine Choir and would have turned 16 on September 26, 2009.

Services for Kelsi, 15, of Palestine will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2009, at the Evangelistic Temple with Dr. Barry Roberts and the Rev. David Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn in Palestine under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
