 Services for Wesley Lamar Leamons, 76, of Grapeland, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Percilla Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Neel officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery at Van. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Leamons died Friday in a Tyler hospital. 

He was born Oct. 3, 1932 at Grapeland to A.C. Leamons and Leora Smith Leamons.

Mr. Leamons was a veteran of the Air Force.  He had been employed in security at Wal-Mart.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Kindle; daughter, Margaret Clapp and his parents. 

He is survived by his wife, Winnie Leamons of Grapeland; son, David Leamons and wife Francis of Grapeland; sister, Bobbie Shaver of Grapeland; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Clapp, Chris Clapp, Jackie Melson, Jeff Melson and Johnny Benton.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Bailey & Foster Chapel at Grapeland.
