Larry Don Langston

Services for Larry Don Langston, 68, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. David Blackmon, the Rev. Tom Pesnell and the Rev. Donny Barron officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Mr. Langston died Sunday at Hospice home Place in Tyler.
He was born March 25, 1941 in Palestine to Harvey Lee and Susie Main Langston.
Mr. Langston was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Bullard and Fields Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local No. 746 and had worked for Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Hiram Dale Langston.
Mr. Langston is survived by his wife, Elouise Langston of Palestine; his mother, Susie Main Langston of Palestine; sons, Larry Keith Langston and wife Lisa, and Kenneth Don Langston and wife Cheryl, all of Bullard; brothers, H.L. Langston Jr., of Palestine, John Langston and Jerry Langston, both of Bullard; two grandchildren, Staci Nicole Langston and Shelby Leighann Langston.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Whitfield, Sonny Soules, J.W. Congelton, Carl Viator, Charles Shuhart, Billy Glenn, Billy Parish and C.T. Shackelford. Honorary pallbearer will be Rex Wood.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
