Faye Tyer

Services for Faye Tyer, 75, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel. Burial will follow in Land of Memory Cemetery with Dan Manuel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tyer passed away Tuesday in Tyler.

She was born July 20, 1933 in Anderson County to Clarence and Edna Young Poston. She was a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ and the Veteran of Foreign Wars Women’s Auxiliary.

Mrs. Tyer was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Norman Tyer.

She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Jaramiello and husband Thomas of Palestine; two sons, Ronny Tyer and wife Linda and Roger Tyer and wife Sondra, all of Palestine; four sisters, Margaret Stone of Texarkana, Billie Dyess, Peggy Hammond and Joy Murphy, all of Palestine; one brother, C.E. “Buddy” Poston of Palestine; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
