Cherry Lynn Weaver

Services for Cherry Lynn Weaver, 54, of Columbus, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus with pastor J. Paul Bruhn officiating.

Cherry passed away Oct. 15, 2009 at her residence.

She was born April 29, 1955 in San Antonio.

Cherry was a kindergarten teacher and involved with the Daughters of the Republic of Texas organization. She had lived in Columbus since 1985.

She enjoyed teaching and her boys were the love of her life.

Cherry was preceded in death by her parents, Kerry Barnett Sr. and Margie Carmack Barnett; and father-in-law, William H. Weaver.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Weaver of Columbus; sons, David Weaver and wife Emily of Seattle, Wash., Casey Weaver of Waco and Kevin Weaver of Columbus; brothers, Kerry Barnett and wife Sonia of Tyler and Toby Barnett and wife Linda of Palestine.

Pallbearers will be member of the Columbus Volunteer Fire Department.
