Venita Wanda Graham

Graveside services for Venita Wanda Graham, 73, of Palestine will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Palestine City Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Graham went home Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, to be with her Lord after a long battle with cancer.

She was born Oct. 7, 1936, in Fayette County, Texas to Benito and Juanita Cardinez Rodriguez.

Mrs. Graham was a wonderful woman who helped so many people and families in their times of need.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Paul Graham, in September 2009; and a son, James N. Graham, in January 2004.

Mrs. Graham is survived by two sons, John Rodrick Graham and wife Crystal and Alan Clint Graham and wife Dawn; daughter, April Louise Majors and husband Mark, all of Palestine; and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
