Robert “Robbie” Lloyd Rhyne, II
Services for Robert “Robbie” Lloyd Rhyne, II, will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Rick Dees officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. Rhyne died Friday at his residence in Rogers, Texas.
He was born March 10, 1960 at Marshall, to Robert Lloyd and Martha Allums Rhyne.
Mr. Rhyne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holland, Texas. He was employed as a guard at Bartlett State Prison and also had worked at the Beto Unit in Palestine. He served in the Texas Army National Guard.
Mr. Rhyne was preceded in death by his father, a sister Laura Kay Rodriquez, Grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. J. F. Allums and Mr. & Mrs. U. L. Rhyne.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Rhyne of Palestine; daughters: Kristy Rhyne and Latimer Baker of Palestine and Jennifer Rhyne of Missouri; son, Robert Lloyd Rhyne III and wife Crystal of Elkhart; sister,Theresa Bambeck and husband Danny of Palestine; grandchildren, Caleb Rhyne, Joseph Rhyne and Latimer Baker Jr.; three nieces, a nephew and a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Bo Rhyne, Caleb Rhyne, Dale Rhyne, Randy Rhyne, Tommy Bankston, Timmy Bankston, Tony Bankston, Lat Baker, Jr., Rod Pickle, Danny Hardin, Truman Scarbrough, Reece Brooks, II, Josh Bradford and Adam Basco.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Bartlett State Prison.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
