Services for Betty Ann Copeland, 83, of Sherman, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dick Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Copeland died Tuesday at Texoma Health Care in Sherman.
She was born Oct. 23, 1930 in England, Ark. to Merrell and Bettie Sweeden Austin.
Mrs. Copeland loved reading the Bible, she loved her family and especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James L. Copeland, in 1991; a daughter, Sandra Copeland; three brothers, S.Y. Austin, Stan Austin and Jr. Austin; and three sisters, Bessie Collins, Billie Murdock and Mary Melvin.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Copeland of Corsicana; sons, Frank Copeland and wife Kathy of Palestine, Steve Copeland and wife Shelley of Sherman; five grandchildren, Mandy Copeland, Adam Copeland, Josh Copeland, Kristen Bollier and Lee Scott; four great-grandchildren, Justin Goodwyn, Nathan Goodwyn, Carter Copeland and Chloe Bollier.
Pallbearers will be Adam Copeland, Josh Copeland, Ben Goodwyn, Michael Bollier and Jimmy Chasten.
