— Graveside services for Karen Haynes, 66, of Elkhart, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Allen Cemetery in Murchison, with Vic Willmann, Chaplain, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.

Mrs. Haynes passed away Tuesday at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler.  

She was born Nov. 11, 1946 in Anderson County. She was a registered nurse, working in local hospitals and doctor offices throughout her career.

Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her parents, D.L. and Effie Frizzell Windham; and sisters, Rovane Weisinger and Roma Platt.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James P. Haynes; daughter, Tracey Pearson and husband Robert of Palestine; son, J.J. Haynes and wife Stephanie of Elkhart; grandchildren, Kayla Pearson, Andrea Pearson, Johnathan Pearson, Perry Haynes and Riley Haynes.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
