Services for Laurie Ann Schitoskey, 48, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Royce Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Church Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
Ms. Schitoskey passed away Saturday at home.
She was born Oct. 10, 1964, in Athens, to Luther Fred Schitoskey and Glenda Massey.
Ms. Schitoskey was a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Ms. Schitoskey is survived by her mother, Glenda Schitoskey; brother, Craig Schitoskey and wife Kim; sister, Lisa Schitoskey; nieces, Jessica McCann and husband Kenny, Brooke Schitoskey and Jennifer Schitoskey; nephew, Justin Huddleston and wife Anita; great-nieces, Sophie and Madeline; and great-nephews, Walker and Caleb.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Warren, Justin Huddleston, Cliff Statham, Richard Henry, Rod Pickle and Bobby Huddleston.
