Services for Kathryn Dear Pelham, 98, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dan Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Pelham died Tuesday at Truecare Living Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1915 in Alto to James Wilson and Willie Ann Fry Dear.
Mrs. Pelham was a member of the Crockett Road Church of Christ.
Mrs. Pelham was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Travis Pelham, in 1962; a sister, Pearl Dear; and three brothers, Roy Dear, Hanferd Dear and Joe Dear.
She is survived by her daughter, Janyth Wade and husband Jim of Jasper; one granddaughter, Nicole LaMasters; and two great-grandchildren, Will LaMasters and Wade LaMasters.
Pallbearers will be James R. Wade, Dwight Dear, Bob Stech, Robert Duzan, Phil Sybert and George Wooden.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
