Annie Mae Glenn
Annie Mae Glenn went to sleep peacefully in her home Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008. She was born on July 11, 1919 in Elkhart, Texas to Miles and Minnie Mae Spruill Evans.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Mage Axum in World War II; her second husband, Milton T. Glenn; and her sister, Johnnie Bell Evans Smith.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Glenn and wife Allyn of Spring; daughter, Sharon Axum Brooks and husband Elmer of Palestine; sister, Mary Wanda Lane and husband Victor of Corsicana; grandchildren, Mark Brooks, Mike Brooks and wife Angela, Tanna Thomas and husband Derrell, and Chad Glenn and wife Leslie, all of Palestine, Kevin Glenn and wife Kristina of Nacogdoches, Ryan and Rebekah Glenn of Spring; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Glenn worked for many years in the lunch room at Four Pines School.
Services were at 3 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Burial followed in Land of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Robert Wesley Daniels, 51, of Palestine passed away on Dec. 7, 2008, at a local hospital in Palestine. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Dr. Buddy Sipe officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, Dec., 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Robert was born June 28, 1957, in Waco, Texas to Wesley Eugene Daniels and Virginia Lee Duncan Daniels.
From an early age, Robert’s favorite thing was “cars.” He had worked as an automotive mechanic for over 20 years. He loved dogs, (pit bulls) and cats and his motorcycles, but most of all, he loved and cherished his two daughters, Wesley Danielle and Rainy Rose Daniels -- they were his life.
