Services for Inez Talbott, 84, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Charles McNeal officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Talbott died Friday at her residence.
She was born Aug. 13, 1928 in Freestone County to Lee and Ora Missildine Richardson.
Mrs. Talbott was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked as a waitress all her life and at AAA Restaurant for many years until her retirement. She loved the Lord, her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Dan Parker; her second husband, Gus Talbott; a daughter, Carolyn Wilson; and a son, Calvin Parker. She was the last survivor of 11 children.
Mrs. Talbott is survived by her daughter, Wanda Parker of Palestine; sons, Donald Ray Parker and wife Terri of Palestine and Jimmie Parker of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Wilson, Devin Williams, Jeff Parker, Jerry Parker, Steven Parker, Dan Mogan, Parker Wilson and Christian Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Mullins and Ryan Blackmon.
