Stephen S. Gusa
Services for Stephen Scott Gusa, 16, of Tyler, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Baron officiating. Burial will follow in Cathedral In The Pines Cemetery under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Stephen passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 at the Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
He was born April 11, 1990 in Longview, to Scott David and Kristen Killebrew Gusa.
He attended St. Louis School since he was nine months old. His smile brought joy to all who knew him.
Stephen is survived by his loving family including his parents; his brother, Caleb Gusa of College Station; and his sister, Katie Gusa of Tyler. He also is survived by his maternal grandparents, Linda Smith of Palestine, Harold Smith of Mount Pleasant and Kenneth Killebrew of Florida; and his paternal grandparents, Art and Sherry Gusa of Palestine; two uncles, Ken Killebrew of Nashville, Tenn., Glenn Gusa of Athens; one aunt, Ginger Dennis of Longview; and a number of cousins and other close relatives.
Pallbearers will be Ken Killebrew, Glenn Gusa, Dale Dennis, Nicholas Gusa, Lenn Gusa and Tim McCullough.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, Texas 75703.

Michael “Conrad” Crawford Jr.
Services for Michael “Conrad” Crawford, Jr., 26, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with Willie Ship, the Rev. Butch Grant and Ronald “Preacher” Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Broyles Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. Crawford died Wednesday.
He was born April 20, 1980 in Palestine to Michael Lynn Crawford, Sr. and Katherine Afdahl Crawford.
At the time of his death, Mr. Crawford was employed as a truck driver for Stallion Heavy Duty Hauling.
He is survived by his father, Michael Crawford Sr., of Palestine; mother, Katherine Afdahl Crawford of Elkhart; daughter, Sarah Crawford of Palestine; son, David Taylor Crawford of Palestine; brothers, Chris and Justin Crawford of Elkhart; sister, Shelbie Parrish of Palestine; grandmother, Betty Afdahl of Montana; grandfathers, Gene Afdahl of Arizona and Forrest Crawford of Palestine.
Pallbearers will be Daniel “Root” Speer, Chad “Pepper” Crawford, Danny “Wildchild” Warren, Barney Barns, Bobby “Cornbread” Prickett and Jonathan “Snowbird” Snow.

Glen E. McFarland II
Services for Glen E. McFarland II, 24, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. David Blackmon officiating. Eulogy will be given by David Gannon. Burial will be in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Mr. McFarland died Wednesday in a Tyler Hospital.
He was born Nov. 4, 1982 in Palestine to Glen McFarland and Tommie Jean Page McFarland.
At the time of his death, he was employed with 4-H Oilfield Service Company.
He is survived by his parents, Glen “Shorty” McFarland of Palestine and Tommie Jean McFarland of Palestine; paternal grandmother, Lula McFarland of Palestine and maternal grandmother Margaret Page; sister, Michelle Warrington of Palestine; niece, Charlize McFarland; and nephew, Jesse Camacho of Palestine.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Eldon “Mac” McFarland and Thomas Page.
Pallbearers will be Michael Mendez, Lance Purnell, David Gannon, Josh Kemp, Jake Holliday and Mathew Lowery.

Betty Jean Willis
Graveside services for Betty Jean Willis, 65, of Grapeland will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Parker Cemetery with Tom Pelt officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Chapel, Grapeland.
Mrs. Willis died Friday at her home.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bailey & Foster Chapel, Grapeland.
Services for Bob Burroughs, 88, of Palestine will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Linda Herron and the Rev. Doug Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Mr. Burroughs died Thursday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
