— Bobbie Ruth House, 70, passed away on Nov. 30, 2012, after a valiant fight with cancer. She was a devout Christian, a loving mother, a caring grandmother, a sweet sister and a true friend to many. She was a loyal and dedicated employee of Austin Bank for 25 years. As a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Frankston, Bobbie showed her love by teaching class for many years and always helping out as needed.  

She is survived by her three children:  Jimmy Carl House and wife, Crystal of Frankston; Cynthia Lynn Sabulsky, and husband Chris of Frankston; Sherri Annette Caraway, and husband Bruce of Magnolia.

“Granny” was loved by her six grandchildren: Todd House, and wife Jodie of Jacksonville; Nathan Sabulsky, Dustin House, Erin Sabulsky, all of Frankston; Avery Caraway and Lauren Caraway, both of Magnolia.

Surviving brothers and sisters include: sister, Joyce Christine Laughlin, and husband Don of Nederland; brother, Elton Ray Clakley, and wife Katherine of Kirbyville; sister, Lois Mozzell King of Tennessee Colony; sister, Maude Elaine Jones, and husband Dallas of Frankston; brother, Johney Richey Clakley of Athens; sister, Velma Kay Rowe, and husband Scott of Silsbee; brother, Thomas Andrew Clakley, and wife Stephanie of Kirbyville; sister, Mary Elizabeth Davis, and husband Bill of Beaumont; brother, Calvin Levi (Clakley) Spurlock, and wife Snookie; sister, Grace Fay Miklos, and husband Steve of Silsbee; sister, Gloria Gay Miller, and husband Bobby of Beaumont.

She was adored by numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother, Vaudine “Dean” Clakley Dansby; father, Andrew Clakley; stepfather, Johnny H. Clakley; and half-brother, Alvin Spurlock.   

She lived her life by one of her favorite verses: Phil. 4: 4-5 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.”

Bobbie requested that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to MD Anderson Cancer Research or the Church of Christ, Frankston.  

Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Church of Christ in Frankston, Texas, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.
