Born in Houston, Texas on Sept.16, 1949, Diane Folsom went home to be with the Lord in Heaven on Feb. 19, 2014, after a courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Roy Folsom; her mother, Mary Von Folsom; and brother, Joe Folsom.
She is survived by her life partner of 27 years, Diane Fries; her sister and husband, Aleta and Ray Thomason; sister and husband, Patty and Herb Pritchett; brother, Allan and wife Julie Folsom; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many friends and extended family.
Diane retired to Palestine from Houston where she lived most of her life. She worked in the printing and the graphic arts industry and for the past 12 years in the Creative Services department of Baylor College of Medicine. A member of the Choctaw Nation, she lived her life to the fullest and was beloved by all.
