— Johnny Mack Caveness was born in Jacksonville, Texas on March 28, 1948. He retired from U.N.R.M.W.A. of Lake Palestine. He was a member of William Foster Lodge No.312 and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 1113 of Frankston.  

He died June 10, 2013 at his residence in Frankston.  

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Buster and Kathryn Caveness and an infant sister, Linda Caveness. 

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Joy Caveness; son, Robert M. Caveness and wife Stacie Caveness of Frankston; daughter, Alisha Tarrant and husband, James Michael Tarrant of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Caitlyn Matejka, Westin Matejka, Maggie Caveness, Klara Caveness, Michael Jaack Tarrant and Makayla and  husband, Justin Hamman; sister, Donna Blankenship and husband Larry Blankenship of Navasota; one nephew, John W. Wren of Anderson, Texas. 

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice Integra Care, 1750 Enterprise St., Suite 100, Athens, Texas  75751.   Honorary pallbearers for his services will be all Masons of William Foster Lodge No. 312 and Eastern Stars of O.E.S. Frankston Chapter 1113 and family and friends too numerous to name.   

Family and friends are invited to attend Masonic graveside services officiated by Bro. David Moore at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Meador Cemetery in Jacksonville and also the visitation on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
