— Services for Lurline Perry, 87, of Rosepine, La., will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Rosepine with the Rev. Greg Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Rosepine Cemetery under the direction of Chaddick Funeral Home of Deridder, La.

Mrs. Perry died Saturday at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. “Dink” Perry.

Mrs. Perry is survived by two daughters, Karen Simmonsen and husband Robert of Rosepine, La. and Deborah “Bitsy” Walter and husband Leonard of Rosepine, La.; and Jeanette Ambler (that she loved same as a daughter) and her husband Bill of DeRidder, La; son, Randy Perry and wife Deborah of Rosepine, La.; eight grandchildren, Christie and Kevin Kemp of Rosepine, La., Sarah and Chad Blankenbaker of Lake Charles, La., Lauryn Perry of Rosepine, La., Robert “Robby” Simmonsen of Rosepine, La., David and Jennifer Simmonsen of Houston, Rebekah and Seth Cruikshank of Clarksville, Tenn., Cole and Sarah Jeans of Rosepine, La. and Clay Jeans of Leesville, La; eight great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Kemp, Nevaeh and Brielle Simmonsen, Kyndsi, Mollie and Addleyn Cruikshank and Payton and Ava Jeans.

The family would like to give special thanks to Patsy Perry for her loving kindness; and to Carla Richmond and Dodie Daniels of Brighton Bridge Hospice.
