Mary K. Thompson, 76, of Palestine, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Thompson was born in Big Sandy in April of 1937. She grew up in Fort Worth and attended Polytechnic High School. She graduated in 1955.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Cook and partner Scott Haseltine; sisters, Carolyn Gilbert of Crowley, and Margaret and husband Mike Wadlington of Arlington; and brother, Charles Pridgeon and wife Carol of Burleson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Thompson; and parents, Eva and Leonard Pridgeon.
