— Graveside services for Ruby Seat Murray, 97, of Tennessee Colony, will be at 1 p.m.. Saturday at Bethel Cemetery with the Rev. Thom Taylor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Murray died Tuesday at Park Place Rehab Center in Tyler.
She was born Nov. 10, 1916 in Anderson County to James William and Jessie Lee Brown Seat.
She was an employee for Curtis Mathis and worked as a final inspector. She was a member of the Cayuga Assembly of God Church. She was a lifelong resident of Tennessee Colony.
Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude Murray, two daughters Fannie Irene Pagitt and Wanda Spurlock; grandsons, Jeffrey Chambers and Bobby Gene Pagitt; great-grandson, Michael Dossey; six sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Chambers; sons, Buddy Murray and wife Midge and Thurman Murray; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Murray and Claude Murray.
