Funeral services for Quentin Allen Carman, 61, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Burial will be in Sterling-White Cemetery in Highlands, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.

Mr. Carman passed away Monday, Oct. 28, in Zavalla.

He was born Aug. 21, 1952 in Odessa to Hollis and Telova Mae Flournoy Carman.

He attended the University of Houston and the University of California San Luis Obispo. He was a Doctor of Psychiatry, and was previously the administrator of Elkhart Oaks Nursing Home, and currently administrator of Colonial Pine Nursing Home in Zavalla.

Mr. Carman was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by brothers, Billy Carman and wife Julie of Waterford, Mich., and Larry Carman and wife Susan of Seabrook; one nephew, John Carman of Los Angeles, Calif.
