Adam Lee Poling, 29, of New Braunfels and formerly of Palestine, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at UMC Brackenridge in Austin, Texas.
He was born Oct. 10, 1984 in Ft. Stewart, Georgia to Jerri Ann (Black) Myers of San Antonio, Texas and Sean Eugene Poling of Spartansburg, Pa. He attended Elkhart High School and went directly into the oilfield making his way from working on an oil rig for Patterson Drilling to Production Supervisor for RockWater in South Texas. He was a people person, a hard worker who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a fun person to be around, yet serious when the situation warranted. If you had asked him what his biggest accomplishment was he would’ve told you it’s his children.
Adam is preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Linda Black of Palestine. He is survived by his children, Steven Lee Poling, Zachary Clayton Poling, Triniti Grace Poling; mother, Jerri Ann (Black) Myers; his father, Sean Eugene Poling; stepfather, John William Myers III; sisters, Jennifer Renee Jones and Ashley Helena-Marie Herrington; brothers, John William Myers IV and Charles Richard Myers, as well as numerous other family members and close friends.
