— Funeral services for Bobbye Jean Cooper, 77, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Chapel in Palestine with Timothy Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.

Mrs. Cooper passed away Monday in Tyler.  

She was born June 5, 1935 in Jacksonville, Texas., to Joe Hayse Cotton and Verna Mollie Hill Cotton.  

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Homer Cooper.  

She is survived by daughters, Delores Williams of Nashville, Tenn., Rita Clark and husband John of Bullard, Karen Sauceda and husband Francisco of Flint and Gayla Tobey of Frankston; sister, Mary Linkenhoker; brother, Joe Cotton; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Joe Humphrey, Horace Boyd, Dustin Tobey, Matthew Tobey, Francisco Sauceda and Tessa Rai William.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Humphrey, Todd Landy and Varge Landy.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Palestine.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas, 75701.
