— Funeral services for Dale Ferrell Bethke, 64, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at Bailey & Foster Chapel in Palestine, with the Rev. Charles McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in Muse Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
Mrs. Bethke passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler.
She was born Sept. 17, 1949 in Palestine, to Clarence and Eunice Bowman Ferrell.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Dale enjoyed fishing and bingo, loved to travel and loved being on the go. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Mrs. Bethke was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Jimmy Bethke; parents, Clarence and Eunice Ferrell; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Lentford Carnes; and grandparents Mary and Bill Bowman.
She is survived by daughters, Shari Fisher of Neches, Jennifer Lankford and husband Dean of Palestine, and Kara Johnson and husband Brent of Fischer; sons, Brian Bethke of San Marcus and Shawn Bethke and wife Jessica of Dallas; sister, Glynda Tyer and husband John of Palestine; brother, Carroll Wayne Ferrell and wife Linda of Houston; sister by friendship of 42 years, Judi Smith; nine grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Joshua, Cole, Mitchell, Haley, Emily, Peyton and Spencer; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brandi; and many special nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Ray, Randy Tyer, Kevin Tyer, Mark Carnes, Greg Herring and Clint Herring. Honorary pallbearers will be Price Thomas, Brandon Tyer and Taylor Carnes.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
