— Funeral services for Christie Lynn Woodlee, 39, of the Allens Chapel Community of Fannin County, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Telephone Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. The Rev. Brian Everett will officiate.  Burial will follow in Vineyard Grove Cemetery.  

Christie passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 17, 2013 at her residence.

Christie was born July 18, 1973 in Palestine, Texas, the daughter of Curtis Parker and Linda Ginsel Parker. She was a 1991 graduate of Elkhart High School and received her nursing degree from Paris Junior College. Christie married John Woodlee on May 2, 1992 at the First Baptist Church in Elkhart, Texas. She was a registered nurse with Victory Home Health. First and foremost, she was a mother and enjoyed her kids and their activities. Christie also had a love of the outdoors, swimming and 4-wheeling. She was a member of the Telephone Baptist Church.

Christie is survived by her husband, John Woodlee of Allens Chapel; daughters, Katelynn Woodlee and Cassandra Woodlee of Allens Chapel; parents, Curtis and Linda Parker of Elkhart; brother, Kevin Parker and wife, Charlene of Palestine; mother-in-law, Mary Woodlee of Allens Chapel; four nieces, Taylor, Caisey, Sheridan and Cheyanne; one nephew, Jacob; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Telephone Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at Telephone Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday.
