Palestine Herald-Press

— Parker Stanley Craft, 2 1/2 days old, went from the loving arms of his parents, Sam and Aubrey Craft, to the loving arms of the Lord on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012.

A memorial service is scheduled for noon on Friday, Oct. 12, at Starrett Funeral Home, 425 S. Church Street, Paris, Texas.

Parker Stanley fought valiantly, surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends, who championed him every minute.

For the 2 1/2 days he was here, he was loved as much as a child could possibly be loved, and in return Parker changed the lives of those around him.

Sam and Aubrey would like to thank the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baylor University Medical Center Hospital for their wonderful, round-the-clock care and attention to Parker and his family.

Parker is survived by his parents; grandparents, Dian and Don Craft; grandparents, “Gigi” Becky Craft and Luke Bowers; grandmother, Stacy Freeman; grandfather, Gerry Freeman; grandfather, Tim Parker; aunt and uncle, Kristi and Chad Beale and family; great-aunt, Sharon Bragg; and many other extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Parker’s name to the Baylor Healthcare System Foundation to support the NICU Special Care Nursery either online or at 3600 Gaston Avenue, Suite 100, Dallas, Texas 75246.
