— Graveside services for Wade L. Streetman will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Roselawn Park with the Rev. Carol Turner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mr. Streetman was born Nov. 24. 1923 in Grapeland, Texas to the late Artis Ugene and Elizabeth Chafin Streetman.

He attended Grapeland public schools. He served six years as a corporal in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a funeral director for Hassell & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine and managed the Grapeland Hassell & Foster Funeral Home. He owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Palestine from 1956 to 1968. He was a member of the Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Maxine Chambers Streetman; his parents; and brothers, A.U. Streetman Jr., Jack Streetman, Hill Streetman, Pick Streetman and Charlie Frank Streetman; and sister, Madge Streetman Barker; and son-in-law, Donald Wolfe.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie Pennington Streetman of Palestine; his daughters, Karen Wolfe of Palestine and Ann Denson and husband Don of Tyler; stepchildren, Charm Pierce and husband Mark of Tyler and Gary Pennington of Palestine; grandchildren, Todd Armstrong and wife Shellie of Huntsville, Kendall Armstrong and partner Davis Hobdy of Deale, Md., Dinah Daly and husband Ronnie of Bullard, Donald Herman Denson II and wife Annabelle of Manor, Donovan Wade Denson and fiance’ Courtney Humble of Lafayette, La.; stepgranddaughter, Daya Sharpe and husband Alan of Tyler; great-granddaughters, Meredith Ann Daly of Austin, Johna Kathryn Denson of Quitman, Madison Jean Denson of Manor, Kylie Elizabeth and Emma Roxanne Denson of Lafayette, La., and Jacquelyne Paige Armstrong of Huntsville; step-granddaughter, Lola DeLos Santos of Tyler; great-grandsons, Michael Douglas Denson of Dallas, Drake Austin Daly of Bullard and Cameron Cade Denson of Quitman; stepgreat-grandsons, Mathew and Kevin Mahoney of Manor and Ethan and Carter DeLos Santos of Tyler.

Pallbearers will be Michael Foster, grandsons, Todd Armstrong, Donald Denson II, Donovan Denson and Ronnie Daly and great-grandson Drake Daly. Honorary pallbearer will be Harry Clark.

Visitation will from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial gifts be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas, 75701.
