Funeral services for Robbie Kate Grimsley, 100, of Elkhart, were at 10 a.m. Monday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with Alan Sowders and Dwight Franklin officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories. Arrangements were under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Grimsley died Friday at Cartmell Home for the Aged.
She was born Oct. 6, 1912 in Anderson County to Robert Easley and Etta Viola Warren Easley.
Mrs. Grimsley was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Elkhart Church of Christ.
She is survived by daughters, Gail McInnis of Elkhart and Karen Lipscomb and husband Tom of Elkhart; sons, Kermit Grimsley of Elkhart and O.L. Grimsley and wife Darnell of Elkhart; nine grandchildren, Thomas Lipscomb, Shelly Franklin, Terri Salmon, Deborah Work, Tina White, Dean McInnis, Keith Lipscomb, Dennis Grimsley and Jason McInnis; 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oma L. Grimsley; sister, Marietta Sadler; brothers, Elberta Dotson, Wilburn Easley, John Easley, Alberta Lee Easley; and son-in-law, Benny Joe McInnis.
Pallbearers will be, Thomas Lipscomb, Keith Lipscomb, Dean McInnis, Brandon Franklin, Dennis Grimsley, Rodney Grimsley and Timmy Salmon.
