Amanda Paige Mosley

PALESTINE — Amanda Paige Mosley, 15, died May 19, 2010. She was born on Jan. 18, 1995 in Palestine, Texas. She was an honors student and recently received top honors in English and Spanish. Amanda was a high school cheerleader and a member of FCCLA and FFA. In her spare time, she enjoyed movies, music and photography. Amanda aspired to be a writer and photographer. Her family paid this tribute to her, “Amanda was a loving daughter, sister and friend and one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she opened her heart to everyone and will be sorely missed.”

Amanda is survived by her parents, Terri Lynn and Terry Flusche of Palestine and Michael and Rachel Mosley of Jacksonville; sisters, Kasie Pendley, Haley Flusche and Taylor Moore; grandparents, Judy Dancer of Palestine, Annette Lilly of Whitehouse, James Rogers of Palestine, and Treda Flusche of Lindale; along with numerous aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Terry Dancer, James Lilly, Cindy Brown, Marshall Mosley and Terry Flusche Sr.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, 207 S. Magnolia, Palestine. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Dogwood Hills Baptist Church, 3400 North U.S. 79 in Palestine, with Pastor Kevin Willmott officiating followed by interment at Parker Cemetery in Grapeland.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Hutt, Dan Salmon Jr., Billy Lusk, Robert Brown, Gary Cumston and Jim Thornell.
