Services for Martha Clark Marshall, 66, of Fort Worth, and formerly of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Max Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Marshall died Thursday at Arlington Heights Nursing and Rehab Center in Fort Worth.
She was born June 12, 1946 in Palestine, to Sylvester Theodore and Elnora Regina Barber Clark.
Mrs. Marshall was a retired registered nurse where she worked at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She was a member of Wedgwood Baptist Church, a member of the Registered Nurses Society and the Gideon’s.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents; and a twin sister, Mary Clark Meisenholder.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Marshall Jr. of Fort Worth; a daughter, Melissa Marshall Izquierdo and husband Porfirio of Fort Worth; a sister, Jannie Clark Kopp and husband Stanley of Houston; a brother-in-law, Richard Meisenholder; grandchildren, Kristi Marshall and Jayden Henson; numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Porfirio Izquierdo Campbell, Felix Villegas, Richie Meisenholder, Irvin Meisenholder, Roger Kopp, Stanley Steed and Carl Bodiford. Honorary pallbearers will be Sylvester Clark, Edward Marshall Sr., Stanley Kopp, Yingqun Mao, Marc St-Gil and Richard Meisenholder Sr.
Memorials may be made to the library or children’s ministry of the Wedgwood Baptist Church, 5522 Whitman Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76133 or to the Christian Organization of your choice.
