Barbara Fay Andrews of Palestine went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the age of 90.
Mrs. Andrews passed away at Palestine Regional Medical Center after a long struggle with Alzheimers. She was devoted to her husband of 71 years, Worth Andrews.
She was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church and taught Children’s Sunday School together with Worth for many years. She loved life, laughter, practical jokes and beating friends and family at card games.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her husband, Worth Andrews of Palestine; daughters, Tina Reed and husband Clarence of Burleson and Pamela Binkley and husband Bruce Alexander of Houston; grandchildren, Shannon Binkley, Alex Binkley, Caitlin Reed and Clayton Reed; and great-grandchild, Dillon Wenger.
Funeral services for Barbara Fay Andrews will be held Saturday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Woody Wilson officiating. The burial will follow at Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
Pallbearers will be David Callaway, Ben Huebner, Phillip Morris, Charlie Richardson, Harold Skidmore and Joe Becton.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Palestine.
