Funeral services for Fred Pryor Jr., 84, of Trinity, and formerly of Palestine, were held Tuesday, Nov. 26 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska with the Rev. D.R. McNaughton officiating. Interment followed in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska.
Mr. Pryor was born Feb. 20, 1929 in Olney, Ill. and passed away Sunday, Nov. 24 in Trinity.
He was a truck driver for E.A. Holder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Pryor Sr. and Maude (Deckard) Pryor; two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Pryor of Trinity; sons and daughters-in-law, Freddie and Kay Pryor, Jimmy and Alfrieda Pryor of Palestine, Stephen and Sandy Pryor of Athens and Phillip and Marcella Pingilley of Magnolia; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila Pryor Stewart and Bruce of Yakima, Wash., Glenda and David Schramm of Houston, JoAnn and Darrell Ackley of Trinity and Barbara and Weldon Brock of New Caney; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sandy Pryor of Fredericksberg, Va.
Pallbearers were Darrell Ackley, Weldon Brock, Stephen Pryor, Ron Sisson, Barbara Brock and Phillip Pingilley. Honorary pallbearers were James Cantu and Wayne Lambright.
