Graveside services and interment for Mildred Williams, 86, Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 at Oaklawn Memorial Park with Don Stanaland officiating.
Services are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williams passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 in Palestine.
She was born July 20, 1927 in Dallas to George and Margaret Strain Waldrep.
Mildred had been a resident of Bois D Arc since 1987. She loved to sew and spend time outdoors hunting and fishing with her husband. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and exceptional housewife. She had a special relationship with animals.
Mildred was preceded in death by a son, David Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Edward W. Williams of Bois D Arc; sons, Daryl Davis of Farmers Branch, and Ricky Lynn Davis of Tool; sister, Doris Osbourne of Greenville; brother, Kenneth Waldrep; grandchildren, Cherie Sherman and Patricia Droke, both of Arlington, Tammy Gill of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Blake Edward Sherman, Jessica Harley and Zachary Harley.
