Mary Charlene Phillips

Services for Mary Charlene Phillips, 55, of Canyon Lake, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel in Grapeland. Burial will follow in Muse Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. Phillips died Monday at Warm Springs Rehab Hospital in New Braunfels.

She was born Sept. 2, 1958 in Crockett to John Edward and Allene Kellum Pyeatt.

Mrs. Phillips served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army working as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughter, Mary Denise Pyeatt and husband Will Roberts II of Huffman; a son, Jeremy Pyeatt of Canyon Lake; brothers, David Pyeatt and wife Tammy of Elkhart, Fred Pyeatt of Grapeland and Edward Pyeatt; sisters, Olene Ferguson of Henderson, Laura Ellis and husband Sam of Trinity, Patricia Pyeatt of Austin, and Anita Loftin of Onalaska; and five grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel in Grapeland.
