— Aubrey Euel Davis was called home on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at his residence in Palestine, Texas at the age of 91.

He moved from Carrizo Springs, Texas where he lived with his wife and their four children since 1959. While in Carrizo Springs, he owned and operated Davis Vacuum Truck Service, was a faithful member of the Carrizo Springs Church of Christ, and was a devout husband, father and loving grandfather. He was known for his humor and playful and mischievous pranks, which his family still cherishes.

Aubrey was the fourth of eight children born May 14, 1922 to Mamie Moren Davis and Earl A. Davis in Foreman, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lorene Arnold Davis; and two sons, Jimmy Doyle Davis and Bobby Earl Davis.

He is survived by one son, Billy (LouAnn) of Premont; and one daughter, Phyllis (Bill) Cooper of Palestine;13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Geraldine Paroll of California.

Services will be held at a later date at Gravelly Cemetery in Foreman, Ark.
