ARLINGTON — Zachariah Burke-Kavalawski, fondly known as “Zach” or “Bubba” passed away at age 25 on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, after a tragic motorcycle accident on Wednesday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Dr. in Arlington. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington Funeral Home.

Zach was born at 4:40 a.m. on Sept. 28, 1987 in Jacksonville. Zach attended Sam Houston High School in Arlington and successfully graduated. He went on to further his career as an automotive body technician at the Lincoln College of Technology.

Zach’s love of family and all things fun will live on in the lives of friends, peers, family and especially in his son. He was proud to be called a great friend by so many and his loss is felt by all who’s path he crossed. His gentle soul and inspirational spirit made our world a brighter place.

The family would like to thank all who supported us at the hospital and those who donated blood.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly Burke; his adoring sisters, Zadrin Laura Burke-Kavalawski, Cashmir Faith Magee (Brian); his partner, Danielle Kemp of Arlington; son, Logan Burke-Kavalawski of Arlington; grandmother, Margaret Scott; aunt, Mary Burke and uncle, Gary Miller; aunt, Tina Henderson-Bryant (Doug); uncle, Walter John Burke (Donna Geary); uncle, Robert Burke (Becky); aunt, Donna Kavalawski Frazier (Ronald); and uncle, Mark Kavalawski; numerous cousins, niece and nephews mourn his passing and countless friends will remember him fondly.
