AUSTIN (AP) — Here is the weekly fishing report as compiled for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for Aug. 19. (Report also available on Web as www.txfishing.com.) CENTRAL

BASTROP: Water clear. Black bass are fair on watermelon spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are very good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water clear; 89 degrees; 7.31’ low. Black bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps and spinnerbaits around structure. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows in 30 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on hot dogs, Spam, and summer sausage. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 89 degrees; 6.46’ low. Black bass are good on Bass Hogg spinnerbaits near the docks, and on Pig Sticker Shaky Heads with Grande Bass 4” watermelon red Trickster Worms near the docks and rocks and over brush piles in 12-15 feet. Hybrid striper are fair trolling and drifting shad. White bass are good on Li’l Fishies and Persuader crankbaits off lighted docks at night. Crappie are good on Li’l Fishies and minnows over brush piles in 10-18 feet. Channel catfish are fair on trotlines baited with cut bait and chicken livers in 12-20 feet. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with cut bait and chicken livers.

BUCHANAN: Water clear; 88 degrees; 26.72’ low. Black bass are fair to good on JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, watermelon flukes, Rat-L-Traps, and watermelon red Whacky Sticks at first light along break lines of flats in Morgan and Silver Creeks. Striped bass are good on Spoiler Shads plastic swim baits and drifting live bait around Lighthouse Point at first light on the surface. White bass are fair but small on Tiny Traps and 2” plastic swim baits in clear water. Crappie are fair on pink/white and chartreuse Curb’s crappie jigs and live minnows in clear water. Channel catfish are good on liver, minnows, and dip bait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on goldfish and perch upriver.

CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 88 degrees; 15.40’ low. Black bass are fair to good on JDC Skip-N-Pop topwaters, watermelon Whacky Sticks, and Texas rigged blue flake worms in flooded bushes and grass banks at sunrise and all day under cloud cover, and on drop shot Devil’s Tongues along break lines and ledges. Striped bass are fair trolling Gizz 4 crankbaits over and around humps and jigging 1oz. Pirk Minnows at daylight. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are fair on smoke JDC grubs and 3/16oz. pumpkin Curb’s jigs with matching JDC craw trailers in 12-25 feet early. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are good on live bait.

COLEMAN: Water clear; 88 degrees; 8.80’ low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse and watermelon Rat-L-Traps and Carolina rigged soft plastics. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and green tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) Water clear. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are excellent on trotlines baited with live perch and shad, and from the bank on rod and reel baited with nightcrawlers, perch, and shad.

FAYETTE: Water clear; 92 degrees. Black bass are fair on watermelon and watermelon gold Carolina rigged soft plastics in 10-18 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and cut shad in 8-12 feet.

GRANBURY: Water clear; 3.17’ low. Black bass are fair on blue/green Rat-L-Traps and watermelon soft plastics. Striped bass are fair on chartreuse/white striper jigs. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, liver, and live bait.

GRANGER: Water murky; 88 degrees; 4.00’ low. Black bass are fair on red shad Power Worms in 3-4 feet. White bass are fair on slab spoons and Gay Blades along shallow roadbeds early and late. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse jigs in 4-12 feet. Blue catfish are good on cut bait and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water stained; 88 degrees; 0.28’ low. Black bass are fair on watermelon Curb’s jigs and perch colored crankbaits in 6-15 feet, and flipping green pumpkin tubes and Texas rigged flukes at docks and lay downs. Striped bass are fair on Li’l Fishies at night. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies at night. Crappie are good on Curb’s crappie jigs and live minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on liver and dip bait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on trotlines baited with goldfish and perch.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water fairly clear; 89 degrees; 1.68’ low. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good but small on minnows and jigs off docks in Liberty Hill Park early. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait baited with sour grain around stickups in 3-4 feet. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water stained; 89 degrees; 6.77’ low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits and minnows. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and shad. Yellow catfish are fair on shrimp and shad.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 91 degrees; 3.59’ low. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Perch are excellent on worms. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on trotlines and juglines baited with cut shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE: Water clear; 90 degrees; 3.27’ low. Black bass are good on minnows, perch, and crawfish. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on chicken livers and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

TRAVIS: Water stained; 90 degrees; 47.08’ low. Black bass to 5 pounds are fair on chrome chuggers and red shad worms in 18-35 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on chrome chuggers and silver spoons in 5-25 feet. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish to 6 pounds are good on nightcrawlers and cut shad in 28-35 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water clear; 93 degrees. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on minnows, shrimp, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

WHITNEY: Water stained; 12.35’ low. Black bass are fair on watermelon Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on shrimp and liver. NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water fairly clear, 83-88 degrees; 0.59’ low. Black bass are good on buzzbaits early, later switching to shaky head jigs, Carolina rigs and medium running crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles. Catfish are good on prepared bait and nightcrawlers.

BOB SANDLIN: Water fairly clear; 84-88 degrees; 0.08’ high. Black bass are good on Yellow Magics early, later switching to weightless 5” Yum Dingers, Rat-L-Traps and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs under the 21 and railroad bridges and over brush piles. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Catfish are good on and prepared bait.

BRIDGEPORT: Water fairly clear; 83-87 degrees; 10.33’ low. Black bass are good on Texas rigs, shallow running crankbaits and shaky head jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. White bass are good on topwaters and white Rooster Tails. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. Channel catfish are good on prepared bait and nightcrawlers.

CADDO: Water off color; 80-85 degrees; 1.34’ high. Black bass are excellent on watermelon flukes, chartreuse white chatterboxes, shad colored shallow running crankbaits, Yellow Magics and soft plastic frogs. Crappie are slow on shiners fished in the river channel. White bass are good on Road Runners and Rooster Tails. Bream are very good on red wigglers and crickets.

CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 83-88 degrees; 1.28’ low. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to jigs, Carolina rigs and DD 22s. White bass are excellent on topwaters, Humdingers and slabs. Hybrid striper are fair to good on live shad. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs around bridge columns and over brush piles. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and fresh shad.

COOPER: Water lightly stained; 83-87 degrees; 1.47’ low. Black bass are good on buzzbaits early, later switching to drop shot rigs, shaky head jigs and weightless 5” Yum Dingers. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles. White bass are good on topwaters and Humdingers. Hybrid striper are fair to good on live shad and Sassy Shad. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers.

FAIRFIELD: Water fairly clear; 88-95 degrees. No report available.

FORK: Water lightly stained; 84-89 degrees; 0.15’ high. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to Carolina rigs, jigs, drop shot rigs and medium diving crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs around bridge columns and over brush piles. Catfish are good on prepared bait and nightcrawlers over baited holes.

GRAPEVINE: Water off color; 84-89 degrees; 3.05’ low. Black bass are fair early on topwaters, later switching to shaky head rigged finesse worms, Carolina rigs and medium running orange/brown crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good in the marinas and over brush piles. White bass are good on Road Runners, slabs and Humdingers. Catfish are good on prepared bait and nightcrawlers.

JOE POOL: Water off color; 85-89 degrees; 0.74’ low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, Rat-L-Traps and shad pattern spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs over brush piles and under bridges. White bass are good on chrome topwaters, slabs and Rooster Tails. Channel catfish are good on prepared bait over baited holes.

LAKE O’ THE PINES: Water stained; 85-89 degrees; 2.11’ high. Black bass are excellent on topwaters early, later switching to shallow running crankbaits, Texas rigs and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and cheesebait.

LAVON: Water stained; 84-88 degrees; 2.52’ low. Black bass are fair to good on Yellow Magics early, later switching to Texas rigged pumpkinseed worms, shallow running shad pattern crankbaits and weightless Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs around bridge columns and over brush piles. White bass are good on topwaters and Humdingers. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

LEWISVILLE: Water off color; 83-88 degrees; 1.93’ low. Black bass are fair on watermelon seed tubes, drop shot rigged worms and chrome Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs around bridge columns and over brush piles. White bass are good on topwaters, Humdingers and slabs. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

MARTIN CREEK: 0.05’ low. No report available.

MONTICELLO: Water fairly clear; 87-95 degrees; 0.06’ low. No report available.

PALESTINE: Water lightly stained; 84-88 degrees; 1.11’ low. Black bass are fair to good on white buzzbaits early, later switching to Texas rigged 7” black/blue Power Worms, chartreuse/white spinnerbaits and shaky head jigs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. White bass are good early on topwaters, later switching to slabs and Little Georges. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad and swim baits. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers.

RAY HUBBARD: Water fairly clear; 84-86 degrees; 1.06’ low. Black bass are good on Yellow Magics and LFT Frogs early, later switching to Carolina rigs, shad pattern spinnerbaits and Texas rigged Grande Bass Rattlesnakes. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles and around bridge columns. White bass are good on topwaters early around Robertson Park, later switching to 1oz. slabs fished off wind blown points, bends and over humps. Hybrid striper are poor on slabs. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

RAY ROBERTS: Water clear; 82-86 degrees; 0.93’ low. Black bass are fair to good on Zell Pops early, later switching to weightless 4’ Yum Dingers. Crappie are good to excellent on minnows and jigs over brush piles. White bass are excellent on topwaters early, later switching to jigging spoons fish from the marina to Isle du Bois State Park. Catfish are excellent on prepared bait in 8-15 feet.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water off color; 84-88 degrees; 4.09’ low. Black bass are good early on buzzbaits, weightless flukes, Carolina rigs and shaky head jigs. White bass are good on Little Georges, slabs and topwaters. Hybrid striper are fair on large slabs and live shad. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on prepared bait and fresh shad.

TAWAKONI: Water fairly clear; 84-89 degrees; 2’ low. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters early, later switching to Caroline rigs, shaky head jigs and shallow running crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on Humdingers and topwaters (while surface schooling). Striped bass and hybrid striper are fair on live shad and Sassy Shad. Catfish are good on prepared and cut bait.

TEXOMA: Water off color; 83-88 degrees; 0.28’ high. Black bass are fair to good early on buzzbaits and Zara Spooks, later switching to Carolina rigs and DD 22s. Smallmouth bass are fair to good on slabs and live shad around points with steep rocky drop-offs. Striped bass are good on Pencil Poppers early, later switching to live shad. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers, prepared bait and live shad.

WEATHERFORD: Water lightly stained; 84-89 degrees; 4.65’ low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and chartreuse Road Runners in the crappie house and over brush piles. White bass are good on white Rooster Tails and Humdingers. Catfish are good on prepared bait over baited holes.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 83-88 degrees; 5.58’ high. Black bass are good on topwaters, later switching to Rat-L-Traps and weightless 5” watermelon/red Yum Dingers. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs over brush piles in 15-25 feet. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and dead shad. SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water clear; 86 degrees; 1.02’ low. Black bass are good on topwaters, soft plastics, jigs, and drop shots. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are good on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers in 8-20 feet early. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines, juglines, and droplines baited with live perch. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water stained; 88 degrees. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and dark soft plastic worms in reeds and along the jetty and near the dam. Striped bass are excellent on liver and shad off points, and down rigging silver and gold spoons near the jetty and dam. Redfish are excellent on perch, shad, and silver spoons, and down rigging spoons near the jetty and dam. Channel catfish are excellent on liver, shrimp, cut bait, and cheesebait near the dam. Blue catfish are fair on cut bait.

CALAVERAS: Water stained; 88 degrees. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits over reed beds and near the dam. Striped bass are good on spoons and striper jigs near the dam and the crappie wall in 15-20 feet, and on chicken livers and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are excellent down rigging silver and gold spoons and live bait along the crappie wall and the dam in 10-20 feet, on crawfish and tilapia along the shoreline, and on live bait along the crappie wall. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on liver, cheesebait, shrimp, and shad near the railroad trestle and 181 Cove. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water clear; 89 degrees; 9.07’ low. Black bass are very good on crankbaits and large soft plastic lizards and worms. Crappie are slow. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are very good on stinkbait in 5-10 feet. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 88 degrees (96 degrees at discharge); 3.79’ low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

FALCON: Water stained; 84 degrees. Black bass are good on large Carolina rigged soft plastic worms and DD22s. Striped bass are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on cut bait and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not. SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water murky; 1.34’ low. Black bass are good on watermelon/white Carolina rigged soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on silver striper jigs and minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, liver, and shrimp.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water clear. Black bass are fair on chartreuse/white Carolina rigged soft plastics, and white Rat-L-Traps and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, frozen shrimp, and perch.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water clear; 89 degrees; 1.13’ low. Black bass to 6 pounds are good on motor oil/green flake and plum soft plastic worms near the dam and the marina in 10-12 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows near the pump station in 15 feet. Bream are good on live worms off piers and grass beds, and on the south side of the islands. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with perch.

LIVINGSTON: Water fairly clear; 88 degrees; 0.11’ low. Black bass to 4 pounds are good on spinnerbaits. Striped bass are good but small on Rat-L-Traps and Zara spooks. White bass are good on troll tubes, pet spoons, and green Charlie slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water murky; 90 degrees; 3.60’ low. Black bass are good on black/blue flake soft plastic worms. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows over baited holes. Bream are fair on nightcrawlers. Catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait and cut bait.

STEINHAGEN: 3.13’ low. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water murky; 88 degrees; 3.10’ low. Black bass are good on black/blue flake and black/red flake Gene Larew craw worms early and late. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows over baited holes. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers off docks in 4-5 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, livers, and hearts. Yellow catfish are slow. PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water stained; 77 degrees; 30.51’ low. Black bass are good on topwater lures, white spinnerbaits, pumpkin plastics and live bait worked along grass lines. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and white crankbaits. Walleye are good on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits. Catfish are good on live bait and cut liver.

MACKENZIE: Water lightly stained; 77 degrees; 77.51’ low. Black bass are good on live bait and chrome Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and striped bass are good on live bait and white crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and black/blue jigs. Walleye are good on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits. Catfish are good on live bait.

MEREDITH: Water stained; 77 degrees; 75.41’ low. Black bass are good on live bait, brown/green jigs, watermelon pepper soft plastics around rocky points and grass lines with topwater action. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait and white crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and crankbaits. Walleye are good on live bait and bottom bouncers. Channel catfish are good on live bait.

PALO DURO: Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 56.23’ low. Black bass are fair on live bait and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait. Walleye are fair on live bait. Channel catfish are good on live bait. WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 1.62’ low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits along brush and grass lines, and black/blue soft plastic ringworms and jigs worked in brush. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on live bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water lightly stained; 83 degrees; 6.14’ low. Black bass are good on chatterbaits off rocky points and topwater baits early in day. Crappie are fair on jigs suspended 12-15 feet. White bass are good trolling and casting towards rocky points in Sailboat Cove area. Blue Catfish are good drift fishing with cut shad or cheese bait on flats at 12-15 feet deep and on juglines baited with shad.

COLORADO CITY: Water clear; 81 degrees; 10.99’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Catfish are slow.

FT. PHANTOM HILL: Water clear; 80 degrees; 5.54’ low. Black bass are fair on live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on live bait. Catfish are fair on prepared bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 6.95’ low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits and pumpkin soft plastic lures worked along timber with topwater action early in day. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass and hybrid stripers are good on live bait. Catfish are fair on live bait.

NASWORTHY: Water lightly stained; 79 degrees. Black bass are fair on live baits, white spinnerbaits and black/blue soft plastics. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Redfish are fair. White bass and striped bass are fair on live bait. Catfish are fair on live bait.

OAK CREEK: Water lightly stained; 78 degrees; 5.05’ low. Black bass are fair on white crankbaits and live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on stink bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 19.55’ low. Black bass are good on live bait, white buzzbaits and spinnerbaits, and black/blue jigs or soft plastic jerkbaits worked around grass and timber. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and crankbaits. Channel catfish are good on live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water stained; 80 degrees; 3.88’ low. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastics and silver/blue back Rat-L-Traps on mid-lake points and grass beds. Crappie are fair on minnows and yellow jigs in Rock Creek area. White bass are good on silver jigging spoons suspended on humps in the Costello Island area. Stripers are good on silver spoons suspended in Broadway area. Catfish are fair on live shad in the north area along the river.

SPENCE: Water lightly stained; 78 degrees; 60.79’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. White bass are slow. Striped bass and hybrid striper are slow. Catfish are slow.

STAMFORD: Water lightly stained; 79 degrees; 2.95’ low. Black bass are fair on white soft plastic jerkbaits and live bait along grass lines. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White and striped bass are good on live bait and white Rat-L-Traps. Catfish are good on live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water lightly stained; 79 degrees; 6.81’ low. Black bass are fair on live bait. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

WHITE RIVER: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 23.45’ low. Black bass are fair on live bait and lavender-colored crankbaits along rocky points with topwater action throughout day. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Walleye are fair on live bait. Channel catfish are good on live bait. COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish are good in the marsh with the swollen tides. Drifters have worked slicks.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Trout are good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters. Kingfish, ling, dolphin and tuna are good offshore.

BOLIVAR: Trout are good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Drifters have taken trout on the shell. Trout, black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are good for drifters working pods of shad and mullet on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Trout are good under birds in the upper end of the bay. Redfish are good on live bait around the reefs.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum plastics. Live bait has worked on the edges of the channel for trout and redfish. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good in the surf and around San Luis Pass on live shrimp and topwaters. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good around Dollar Reef on live shrimp and croakers. Redfish are fair to good in Moses Lake on mullet and shrimp.

FREEPORT: Trout are good at San Luis Pass on shrimp, Super Spooks and She Dogs. Trout are fair to good on live bait on the surfside beach. Black drum, redfish, sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Waders have taken better catches on the shorelines on small topwaters. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the drop-off along the south shoreline on mullet.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are fair on live shrimp in Oyster Lake.

PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are fair on live bait over sand, grass and shell in San Antonio Bay and around Pass Cavallo. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp. Trout are good in the surf and at the jetty.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on mullet on the Estes Flats and around Mud Island.

PORT ARANSAS: Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers. Trout are good in the surf on topwaters and croakers. Offshore is good for amberjack, kingfish, tuna and dolphin.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair on the edge of the spoils on Gulps, piggy perch and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp. Trout are good in the surf on croakers.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on topwaters around rocks and grass. Redfish are fair to good in knee-deep water on flies and small Super Spooks and SkitterWalks.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on topwaters and soft plastics under a popping cork. Offshore is good for kingfish, ling and dolphin.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout, redfish and snook are fair to good in South Bay and Mexiquita Flats. Tarpon and snook are good on DOA Shrimp at the jetty.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good while drifting sand and grass flats on live shrimp, DOA Shrimp and Gulps under popping corks. Trout are good on the deeper edges and flats in Laguna Vista on topwaters and live shrimp. Redfish are beginning to show in larger schools.
