8-31 PISD Happenings

Northside Early Childhood Center

• Great Start — Northside Early Childhood Center is off to a great 2008-09 school year! We hope everyone enjoyed a restful summer vacation!

• New Staff Members — We have new staff members to welcome to Northside: Teachers are Laurie Rightmyer, Jennifer Vasquez, Stacie Harding, and Shelly Parsons. Our new paraprofessionals are: Roshema Villarreal, Susie Ramon, Ashley Wells, and Deonte Mims. We are so proud to have all of you joining our team.

• Special Thanks — Thank you to all the custodians who worked very hard this summer to have our building clean and floors shining to be ready for the new year.

• Kindergarten Orientation — Kindergarten orientation was held Aug. 21. We were excited to meet all of our parents and new students, as well as the returning students. We want to welcome you to our school.

• Upcoming Events — Monday, Staff/Student Labor Day Holiday; Sept. 9, open house.
