Slocum ISD School Happenings for 4-1-07

• TAKS Test — The Fifth Grade Math TAKS Test will be given on Tuesday. Please help your child get a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast that morning

• Softball and Baseball — Girls Softball will play Oakwood Monday at Slocum. JV Baseball will play Frankston. Both games will begin at 4 p.m. JV Boys also will travel to Grapeland Saturday to play at noon.

Varsity Baseball will play at 6 p.m. Tuesday in La Poynor. They will travel to Oakwood on Friday to play at 4 p.m.

• FFA — FFA will attend Career Development Events in Stephenville on Wednesday.

• Class Pictures — Class pictures will be Thursday.

• Easter Holiday — Friday is Good Friday and will be a holiday for Slocum ISD.

• Annual Fish Fry — The Annual Fish Fry will be held at 6 p.m. Friday. This is a benefit booster for the agriculture program.

• Slocum All-Star Teams Make it to Nationals! — Slocum’s Major Girls and Senior Boys Little Dribblers All-Star teams qualified to advance to Nationals during their Regional Tournament. The teams will travel Wednesday through Saturday to Levelland to play in the National Tournament. Thanks to all parents for a great Little Dribblers Season.
