School Happenings for 9-23-07

• Thank Yous — A special thank you goes out to the First United Methodist Church of Palestine for the box of school supplies sent to us. The supplies will go to the students who were unable to get all of their school supplies to begin the year.

A belated thank you to the First Baptist Church of Slocum and Lakeside Baptist church for the wonderful meal provided to the teachers and staff the first week of in-service. The meal was delicious as always! Thank you!

• Junior High Basketball — The junior high basketball teams will be in action against New Summerfield on Tuesday. They will also play in the Douglass Tournament on Thursday and Saturday.

• Cross Country — Cross Country will run at Neches on Saturday.
