• PFK Meeting — A PFK meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Commons Area of Slocum School. Please attend to help plan for Fall Fest for the students.
Congratulations to the following newly elected Parents For Kids officers: Leah Glenn, president; Jennifer Jackson, vice president; Candace Cutler, treasurer; and Shawna Smith, treasurer. Thank you for all of the time and effort you dedicate to our wonderful children.
• Junior High Basketball — Junior High basketball will be in action at LaPoynor Tuesday evening.
• Parent Connect Meeting — SISD Technology Coordinator Joel Parker will hold the second Parent Connect Meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the cafeteria. This meeting will demonstrate to parents how to access student grades, assignments, and attendance online. Parents must attend the meeting to obtain information on how to use the program and to attain the confidential student ID numbers for access to the online system.
• End of First Six Weeks — Friday is the end of the first six weeks. We have gotten off to a superb start! Thank you to teachers, staff, and students for a wonderful beginning!
• Cross Country — Cross Country will run at Lindale on Saturday.
