Treyvon Reeves

Current University of Tulsa linebacker Treyvon Reeves has been named student of the month for March at the school.

TULSA, Okla. — Current University of Tulsa linebacker Treyvon Reeves has been named student of the month for March at the school.

Reeves is the grandson of Wanda Reeves and Brenda Tillis, both of Palestine.

He also is the son of John Reeves and the late Anitra Tillis. John Reeves currently lives in Fort Worth, where Treyvon attended high school at Boswell.

Treyvon Reeves, a 6-foot-2, 204-pound linebacker, is following in his father's footsteps playing college football. John played at both Eastern New Mexico State and Baker College in Kansas.

Treyvon Reeves is an organizational studies major at Tulsa, with a minor in sport management.

Reeves was a redshirt freshman this season, and he's expected to play a bigger part in Tulsa's upcoming 2018 season. In the 2017 spring game, he collected 6½ tackles.
