Arnold-Thomas wedding

Amber Elizabeth Arnold and Seth Lee Thomas, both of Alexandria, were married Feb. 14 in the Zion Church of God in Zion, Illinois. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Daniel Hanners.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Arnold of Alexandria. She is the granddaughter of Susan Bailey Blackwood and the late Alwin “Bud” Bailey, the late J.B. Arnold and the late Patsy Arnold Cedars. She is currently employed with AFCO Industries in Alexandria.

The groom is the son of Everett Thomas of Palestine and Kindra Thomas of Mesquite. He is the grandson of Charlotte Bailes and Harold Bailes, the late Everett Thomas Sr. and Gail Boling. He is currently employed with the Unites States Navy in Great Lakes, Ill.

The maid of honor was April Benamati of Shreveport, La.

The best man was Jason Moore of Palestine.

A reception will be held at a later date in Alexandria. After a honeymoon, the couple will reside in a location to be determined by the U.S. Navy.
