Gilbreath-Beasley

Meghan Loraine Gilbreath of Tyler and Jason Scott Beasley of Jacksonville were married Feb. 21 at The Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. The Judge Morris performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Tom and Loraine Gilbreath of Tyler. Her maternal grandparents are: Claudette McKinney of Tyler and the late Richard Lee McKinney. Paternal grandparents are Tom and Betty Gilbreath  of College Station.



Father of the groom is the late Jimmy Beasley. The groom’s maternal grandfather  is J.D. Mims and his paternal grandparents are Travis and Allene Meador.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless neckline gown beaded with seed pearls and Victorian lace overlay of ivory charmeuse. The dress was fitted at the top with an antique brooch and  flared at the knee into a mairmaid train.



Her sheer illusion veil mirrored the color of her gown with delicate seed pearls in a scallop pattern at the edge.

She carried a bouquet of pink roses designed by the bride herself  with a crocheted bonnet her great grandmother wore as a baby in the early 1900s.

Attending the bride was matron of honor Melissa Barker, sister of the bride, of Whitehouse.

Bridesmaids were Meredith Gilbreath, sister of the bride, of Tyler ;Tiffany Elrod of Tyler and Amber Blount of Frisco.

Junior attendant was Page Archie.

Best man was Jon T. Beasley, brother of the groom, of Baltimore, Md. Groomsmen were Brian Phillips of Tyler, Jeremy Taylor of Jacksonville, and Kenny Murphy of Maud.



Flower girl was Rylan Clakley, daughter of the bride. Ring bearer was Payton Troyer of Tyler.

A reception was held at the Castle on the Lake.



Following the week-long honeymoon to Key Stone, Colo., the couple will reside in Whitehouse.



The bride graduated from Chapel Hill High School and is vice president of TAGCO Construction LLC. The groom graduated from Jacksonville High School and is a Tyler fireman.
