3-16 Starling-Jimenez wedding

Lisa Renee Starling of Neches and Andrew Lee Jimenez of Palestine were married Feb. 23 at First Baptist Church of Neches.

The Rev. Kevin Wilmott of Palestine read vows before an altar decorated with red and white roses with green ivy and candles.

Parents of the bride are Buddy and Rosa Starling of Neches, and parents of the groom are Paula and Otis Osborn and the late Wally Weldon of Palestine.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless white gown with a train trimmed with pearls.

The bride carried a bouquet of red and white roses with greenery.

Attending the bride was Gena Macias, best friend of the bride, of Neches.

Bridesmaids were Kiske Starling, sister-in-law of the bride, of Neches; and Monica Calcote, friend of the bride, of Palestine.

Attendants wore floor-length formal red dresses. They carried bouquets of red and white roses.

Flower girls were Amanda and Alisha Jimenez, daughters of the bride and groom, of Palestine.

Ring bearer was Lance Starling, nephew of the bride, of Neches.

Candlelighter was Kyriah Starling, niece of the bride, of Neches.

Best man was J.J. Munsinger, brother of the groom, of Austin.

Groomsmen were Richard Starling, brother of the bride, of Neches; and Steven Jimenez, brother of the groom, of Palestine.

The groom and groomsmen wore camo vests and ties, white shirts and black pants.

Aisle runner was done by Kayley Jimenez, niece of the groom, of Palestine.

Providing music was Clay Starling, cousin of the bride.

A reception hosted by family members was held at the church.

House party members included Amanda Kincade, friend of the bride; Stacie, Amber, Megan, friends of the bride and groom; and Stacie Munsinger, sister-in-law of the groom.

Following a wedding trip to The Villages, the couple will reside in Palestine.



The bride is a graduate of Neches High School and is manager of Mr. D’s in Palestine.

The groom is employed by Bandana Installation.
